About Tim Cummings and this Foundation

Tim Cummings was an avid outdoorsman whose life was defined by his deep passion for the woods, the water, and the tradition of hunting. Whether he was tracking whitetail deer, calling in wild turkeys, or sitting in a duck blind at sunrise, Tim was happiest in the great outdoors.

For Tim, hunting was more than just a hobby—it was a calling and a passion. Above all, he loved passing that passion along to the next generation, dedicating his time to introducing kids and youth to the outdoors and teaching them to appreciate the wilderness.

In May of 2026, Tim unexpectedly passed away in his sleep , leaving behind his loving wife, two daughters, and a grandson.

The Tim Cummings Youth Foundation was established in his honor to carry forward his legacy, ensuring that his love for the outdoors, his commitment to mentorship, and his dedication to getting kids into the field lives on for generations to come

He was also a brother, Neighbor, Uncle, friend, and a Talker.

This Foundation will be used to help buy camouflage, license, calls, and gear for misfortunate youth, and kids who can't afford it.

On Sunday, September 6th, family and friends gathered for a memorial celebration to honor the life, stories, and deep outdoor legacy of Tim Cummings.

We are humbled to share that Tim’s wife, Carolyn, has asked Yahoola Creek Bottoms to help establish a new foundation in his honor. We are fully committed to this mission.

Through this foundation, Tim’s passion for the outdoors will forever live on in our woods, our youth, and the next generation. We look forward to sharing more details with our community soon as we help bring Carolyn’s vision to life.
