First Timers, Full Hearts, and Empty Shelves: Turkeyrama 2026
What a weekend! We just wrapped up our very first appearance at Turkeyrama in Perry, Georgia, and "successful" feels like an understatement. For a first-time vendor, you never quite know what to expect, but the Georgia hunting community showed up and showed out.
A True Family and Community Effort
If you know anything about Yahoola Creek Bottoms, you know we’re fueled by family and the friends who feel like family. While we missed having Jessica and Beckett there—they were busy grinding at a basketball tournament—the rest of the crew stepped up in a big way.
My daughters, Taylor and Tatym, were absolute rockstars at the booth, and having my brother there to help manage the crowd was a lifesaver. We also couldn't have pulled this off without some of our very close local friends who showed up early to help us get the booth set up and stuck around to support the brand. It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do: God, family, and the great outdoors.
Meeting the Community
The best part of these shows isn't just the gear; it's the people. We met so many new faces, swapped stories about past seasons, and felt a warm welcome from the Perry crowd. Seeing the passion for turkey hunting in this region gets us even more fired up for the upcoming season.
Young Gun Newton
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the success of our very own Fletcher Newton at Turkeyrama 2026!
Competing in the Poult Division, this "Young Gun" proved his skill by taking home 2nd Runner Up.
But the journey doesn't stop here—Fletcher is taking his talents to the big stage! NASHVILLE TN.
Fletcher will be representing us at the Grand National Championship, where He will compete against the nations top youngsters.
The Great Sell-Out
We brought a heavy stock of our custom pot calls, thinking we’d have plenty to last through Sunday. Boy, were we wrong! By late Saturday evening, we had sold out of almost every pot call we brought.
It got to the point where folks were even buying our display calls right off the table! Seeing our craftsmanship head home with so many hunters is a feeling that never gets old.
If you missed us in Perry or we ran out of the call you were looking for, don't worry—we’re already back in the shop getting to work. We have to restock fast because we’re heading south very soon!
Our next stop is Tifton, Georgia for the GON Spring Sportsman’s Expo on March 6-7. It's going to be a massive weekend at the UGA Tifton Campus Conference Center, and we can’t wait to see our South Georgia friends there.
